Gratitude December

You’ve made 2014 a fantastic year for Zinc Media!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with talented local artists spanning genres from country to reggae and will share their music as soon as it’s released. Thank you for your recent reviews and feedback. If you’d like to share some words you can do it here.

I have been writing a song a week for the last 47 weeks. My goal as set by the Soulwriters Songwriting group is 52 songs. The group reached their goal 3 weeks ago. I came in late to the game but have taken the challenge wholly. When I first started I wanted to “find the faucet”. What I’ve gotten out of it is the confidence to look any song in the eye and take it through the best of it’s possibilities. By no means am I an expert but this time the muse didn’t give me a fake phone number.

I asked for your vote for Bekah Kelso & The Fellas in the SA Current Music Awards and you delivered. We won Best Singer-Songwriter, Best Recording Engineer. Ricky, Ryan and I placed in the top 3 of our instrument categories. Thank You!

BKTF has been steamrolling SA’s music scene and is branching out. We’ve completed tracking for the upcoming Album “No Stranger”. CD release is expected mid February. You can expect a pre release online performance via www.concertwindow.com January 28th, 2015.

A special thanks to our “5th Members” without whom we could not make the magic we love to share with you.

Congratulations Mr. Jason A. Carter! We recently completed and released “Forever And A Day”, a 15 song journey through jazzy ragtime, country, bossa nova lead by a wonderful storyteller. Guest appearances include Bekah Kelso, Ryan Kelso(Drums) and Bobby Flores(Fiddle). You can listen to clips by clicking on the cover below.
